Since 1992 Motec has been developing camera systems for commercial vehicles, construction vehicles and agricultural machines as well as cranes, industrial trucks and specialist systems. As an expert in effective and high-performance camera monitoring systems, Motec has become established as one of the leading suppliers in this segment.

It all started with the idea of using cameras to improve the safety and ergonomics at the workplace of the driver, as well as to deploy vehicles and installations more effectively and to use them at full capacity. This original idea has developed into a company with 50 employees which serves more than 800 companies in Germany and Europe. Renowned international vehicle, machinery and plant manufacturers have trusted our technology for many years and placed their faith in our competence and experience.

In order to both provide a prompt and punctual service to our customers and to be able to assist with technical issues, we employ a close network of local cooperation partners and trade partners. Not only are we in a constant process of expanding this network, but we are also broadening our own network of sales offices in order to remain as close as possible to our customers.

Motec is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and received the internationally recognised quality seal for quality management in July 2004. Motec is a member of the Verband der Arbeitsgeräte- und Kommunalfahrzeugindustrie e.V. (VAK), the German association for the equipment vehicles and municipal utility vehicles industry.
